
In 1935 this locomotive was supplied to the Central Portland Cement Company Ltd., Kirton Lindsey. The firm later became the Alpha Cement Company, and in 1949, G. & T. Earle Ltd., who were a subsidiary of Associated Portland Cement Manufacturers. APCM donated Tom Parry to Quainton Railway Society, having withdrawn it from their Houghton Regis plant in 1967. It had been there since 1949. |
