This is a Queen Mary brake van built for common use, and is one of the longest bodied brakes vans built. It has stone ballast carried between the frames. It ended its working life being used on works trains, numbered DM731381, and was withdrawn in June 1988. Purchased from Booth's scrap merchants, it arrived at Quainton with a number of other goods wagons purchased at the same time. |
