Built for seating ten passengers, and powered by a Ford V8 engine and four-speed gearbox, No. 9040 was originally owned by the Ministry of Defence. It was stationed at their Bicester depot. It is now owned by a QRS member and arrived at Quainton on 25th June 1969. It has very occasionally been used to give passenger rides, but has been out of service for many years. It is currently having its body work repanelled, as it has suffered from some corrosion.
