Wonderful News!

I have received confirmation of the rumour that I heard at the weekend and merely copy what Eddie Ives has sent me. Eddie is now running the Crew Training Scheme, as I believe you know.

Eddie's email reads:
"The following passed exams this weekend at Quainton:
Roger Fox as Fireman - passed practical test with Dennis Howells our Independent Assessor.
Peter Bush, Roy Britton, Alex Plews, John Fletcher, Chris Jenkins and Peter Mitchell - passed theory test as Passed Cleaners and will join the footplate roster as 3rd men as well as starting Fireman training soon."

I would like to pass my congratulations to all seven who passed. This is wonderful news, not only for the seven and all the hard, sweaty, dirty work they have done to achieve this but also for the Society as a whole as we have more members coming through the training grades. Perhaps you would like to join them? If so, send me your contact details and I will pass it on.
