Quainton Email Letter 20.11.09

A couple of apologies!

It has been pointed out to me that 3 weeks ago I told you that my computer would go 'black' as I was moving house and that I have neglected to tell you that I am now online again. Currently, my offer on another house in Aylesbury has been accepted and the due processes are being slowly ground through whilst I stay with my aunt in Thame. As a result I am now whiffy, err, I mean I have wifi.

I was also asked to put out a request for table clearers for catering on all the Santa & Thomas days this year and I forgot!. If you haven't done this before I can reassure you that it isn't as onerous as it sounds - and you get frequent breaks! An apron and cloth are supplied and the customers come in in waves. Because of the nature of our Santa operation with customers arriving for a timed train they then continue through catering and on to the magic show in the same pattern resulting in short breaks between each new train load! In case you have a brain like mine that forgets things Santa will be at Quainton on 7 weekend days this year - 29th November, 5th & 6th, 12th & 13th, and 19th & 20th December. If you can help for a day - or an hour or two - why not give Admin a call on 01296 655720 and enjoy the wonderful, happy, seasonal atmosphere of Rewley Road!
