The extended Sales Shop with Peter and Hazel Hoskings looking mighty surprised at yet another flurry of snow on Easter Sunday, 1975.

The new museum which is a credit to Alan Vessey. It is divided into sections; carriages, signalling, track, library, tinplate railways, locomotives and general. Although the emphasis is towards the Met. & G.C. there are many items from a wider field. Dusty Miller's assistant is keeping a watchful eye on the valuable property in the corner!

The text in this Quainton Railway Society publication was written in 1975 and so does not reflect events in the 40+ years since publication. The text and photographs are repeated verbatim from the original publication, with only a few minor grammar changes but some clarifying notes are added if deemed necessary. The photos from the original publication are provided as scans in this internet version of this long out of print publication.
