Here's a very useful job for the less active member!

Why not volunteer to man the Quainton gate?

It is quite amazing how many visitors arrive at our Depot during the days we are not advertised as being Open. Most are passing through the district on holiday and want a quick look round to see our progress - and would be pleased to pay their entrance fee and maybe buy a guide and stock list.

Meet Jim Lindsey, who we welcome onto our staff to keep an eye open for prospective visitors and to do those odd jobs around the station. But Jim can't be on duty all the time.

So, if you enjoy meeting people and having a nice quiet read or knit(?) into the bargain, why not speak to Gordon Rodwell right away? And bring Quainton some useful income too!

Gordon's (Roddy) address is on Page 24 - Tel. Quainton xxx.
