Publicity

You will know from elsewhere in this issue that Peter Hoskings is our Publicity Officer and we want to help him all we can - so here's how.

The Press Day on 1st April gave us some good contacts with Bucks and Beds newspapers, so Peter is asking if members can get articles about Quainton into their local paper, magazines or club journals. If they can, then just send him a request and he will write copy for submission to the Editor. If any do appear, please be sure to let Peter have a copy, especially if anything is published further afield than the Aylesbury area.

Although the season will be well advanced by the time you read this note, please remember Peter has general leaflets and special event leaflets, also 'hanging cards' and posters. Just ask. His address is on the back page.

Lastly, milk churns. Another two were donated and have been refurbished by Peter to appear at Quainton. We can still do with some more please, also some more enamel signs.

Notes:
The text in this Quainton Railway Society publication was written in 1982 and so does not reflect events in the 32+ years since publication. The text and photographs are repeated verbatim from the original publication, with only a few minor grammar changes but some clarifying notes are added if deemed necessary. The photos from the original publication are provided as scans in this internet version of this long out of print publication.
