From the Stationmaster's Office - P J Hoskings

Now that we are officially open every Sunday during the year we must appreciate that winter visitors will want to photograph the locos and rolling stock just as much as those in summer. This means that care must still be taken as to where we park our cars throughout the year. It really is annoying to the public who want to take a picture of a particular item, only to have it completely spoilt by a car. Most members are now parking in the agreed spots and I thank you all for this. To the few who do not I would ask to consider where the money comes from to pay for the running of the Centre. Yes, of course, the visitor who takes pictures or asks silly questions. BUT. If they stop coming, then the Centre will close. It really is as simple as that.

First Aid training will be given in the Spring, both for Stationmasters and for other members who don't faint at the sight of blood. Please let me or Bruce know if you are interested.

The Stationmaster's office is at last going to be repainted and tidied up. Any items that do not belong there will be dumped in the Grundon sooner rather than later. You have been warned! If you have to leave packages in the future, leave a note saying who it's for and who it's from. If not - the Grundon!

Finally, keep up the good work concerning the general tidiness of the site to ensure that we have a Centre that we can be proud of, and proud to show our friends and visitors alike.
