Stop Press

Stop Press Anthea Hanscomb issues the plea: WANTED a member with card-cutting skills! I have a working 2-dimensional 'cut-away' view of a steam engine with slide valve, Stephenson Link motion and piston with rod and con-rod, which could be copied for use during the first part of each engine firing / driving course. Please would anyone with card / model-making skills get in touch with me at xx xxxx xxxx, xxxxxxxx, xxxxxx. xxx xxx (xxxx xxxxxx).

Foot note Did you know that a Nissan Prairie is a Japanese steam locomotive? Heard, truly(!), by someone at Norchard, Dean Forest Railway. (Contributed by Janice Uphill).
