Quainton Guide 1976

The last day of passenger service on the Verney Junction line, 4th July 1936

Photo:
Q R S Collection - An interesting study taken from under the footbridge on platform 2 on the last day of passenger service on the Verney Junction line, 4th July 1936. The station 'decor' can clearly be seen and the passengers clothes and railway uniforms should bring back memories to many. Does anyone recognise any of the faces?
