Illustrated Programme No. 3 Late Summer 1972

BR Charter Diesel Service

A shuttle service operated by BR DMU will operate on the Sunday and Monday of the Bank Holiday weekend between Quainton Road and Aylesbury, to connect with the Amersham services. The timetable is as follows and will enable visitors either to park their car at Aylesbury and visit Quainton by rail, or to take a trip from Quainton to Aylesbury and back on a line now closed to passenger services.
Tickets are available from the ticket office on platform 1. Return fare: Adults 20p, Children 10p. Single fare at half return rate.
