I learned with great sadness over the Christmas holidays, from his son Stephen, of the death of Peter Denny, creator of the iconic Buckingham Great Central model railway, founded in 1946. We have run videos about the model (of a fictitious branch line from just north of Quainton to Buckingham) in the cinema coach, and I will include further information on the model in the next issue.
