In the second week in July we hope to be filmed for a television programme by John Betjeman on BBC-2 titled Metroland. It is hoped to repaint L44 in its Metropolitan livery on one side only and have the locomotive standing on the Brill platform for this special occasion. Would you like a colour TV for Xmas?
