Quainton News No. 14 - December 1972
From the Membership Secretary
Renewals of subscriptions have come in at a steady rate but there are still some ex-members who must have overlooked their annual exercise of making their dues over to Anthea Hanscomb. All these lost souls have had at least two reminders so now it is up to personal contact if you know of their identity. We are all very grateful indeed to those who have most generously sent donations in addition to their subscriptions. £74 sent in this way has made possible the payment of the transport costs of the four vans from Bicester. In the west yard the ex GW 47683 is for Depot use, ex Midland 47251 is for the Signals lads and ex LSWR 47253 is a store for the Carriage and Wagon team. So almost everyone has benefited by these additional contributions to the funds. |
