All members will have been pleased to learn that our friends, the 6024 Preservation Society are now a Limited Company and we wish them well in their 6024 Share Issue. £1 shares are being made available and each £10 worth will include a special display certificate. Details are obtainable from Mike Liscombe.

Our own Society has had the possibility of owning a large locomotive in mind and provisional agreement has been made with the Wightwick Hall Appeal Fund for the latter to merge with the QRS. If £8500 is raised by the end of the year, 6989 will be acquired from Woodhams, Barry and moved to Quainton Road. We hope to give more news of this project in the Spring issue.
