Our Income depends on our Visitors Help in giving them a good day Organising the rosters for Open Days is always a difficult task. We will need plenty of volunteers for the 1980's Open Days - not only for manning trains with enginemen and guards, but for the station duties, at the ticket booths and in the car parks. Help is also needed by S&T, for the sales stalls, the catering department and to man the numerous other jobs necessary to welcome the public and to see that they have a happy time. Every member living within a reasonable distance of Quainton should try to give a few hours service to the Society at Open Days. It will satisfy you when you realise how you have contributed to our continuing success. For further details, please contact RAY HORSLEY (address on back page). |
