Why not Join the Locomotive Department?

You don't have to be a fully trained engineer to be assured of a warm welcome in the Loco. Not only do we need skilled fitters but willing volunteers who do not mind working as craftsman's mates or wielding a scraper and paint brush on the many fine locomotives under restoration or repair at Quainton.

And that's not all!

The Locomotive lads are always to the fore whenever any important job needs doing well; like rebuilding a footbridge or dismantling a wheel-drop or a turntable. And who provides the enginemen? The Loco, of course!
