Quainton 100 Club

The Quainton 100 Club has been taken over by Martin Hobbs and is now to be known as the 72-Hundred Club, the funds now going towards completing purchase of 7200 from Barry Yard and provide funds for paint, etc.

The first draw of 1981 was made by the Chairman on 1st February and No. 43, Jo Boait, was the lucky winner. Martin urgently needs more members, to make up to 100, in order to make the project worthwhile. He may be contacted at home.

The text in this Quainton Railway Society publication was written in 1981 and so does not reflect events in the 33+ years since publication. The text and photographs are repeated verbatim from the original publication, with only a few minor grammar changes but some clarifying notes are added if deemed necessary.
