Can You Help?
The appearance of our station platform would be much enhanced by some of those distinctive items of trade of a Victorian Railway Station. We have in mind some milk churns and a few barrels. Preferably the churns should be of the early conical type, like those owned by Andrew Bratton which he puts out on Open Days. But the later straight-sided type would look equally good and we do hope one of our readers will know the whereabouts of some old disused churns which we could have. Please contact Tony Lyster or leave any discoveries at the station at anytime. Thanks! |
