Sales Special
The Society has been offered the Sales Concession on a series of Rail Tours, catering mainly for railway enthusiasts to a railway centre. This is a chance for members to join the Sales Staff of our Society and enjoy, at the same time, a free rail trip! Volunteers may also be required to act as a courier, in charge of up to two coaches, on a coach trip to local beauty spots, etc. Interested persons, who consider themselves of mature age and able to get on with all sorts and ages of people, should contact Dusty Miller. He might need two sets of volunteers on any particular day. The Rail Tours will normally pick up at Aylesbury, Bicester, High Wycombe, Bletchley or Luton. Members - here's an ideal opportunity to assist in Fund Raising. While on the subject of funds, why not try your fitness on a sponsored walk which David (Super D) Alexander is organising. The route will be from Quainton, up the Brill branch to Brill - or as far as you can manage. It is hoped to hold this event in May and the takings will go to the long neglected L44 restoration. Ask David for your application form now. |
