Shed Noticeboard - 9466 Group
The large Pannier has been put to bed for the winter and some routine maintenance has been carried out. She will be available for service at the start of the season. The Toad is currently being worked on, with the running gear receiving a complete overhaul. All items are being dismantled, cleaned and inspected prior to painting and reassembly, only the axle box oil pads need replacing. Once the chassis has been completed, attention will then be turned to the body. As you will read elsewhere, the group's workshop has been finished and tools and spares are being transferred from the Stove van. The area around the workshop has been tidied up, the floors and walls painted and noticeboards have been erected that will house a photographic display about 9466, the Sentinels and 6989. |
