From the Junction Shop - Alan Newstead
Friends, I am back so I am after your money once again. I wish to thank you all for your good wishes. I have still got one or two Met No. 1 prints for those who have not yet purchased one. I will take your money on the never, never, pay what you like when you like and get the print when you have finished paying. I've seen Duncan and told him to wake up his bank manager in the wardrobe. Members come to me and say "I bought a book from W H Smiths" or "I didn't see the book on your shelves, so I bought it outside." Will you please give me a chance to get your books or videos, as the profit is better coming to the Society than to anybody else. If anybody would like a nice cushy job working in the shop, Joan and myself will train you. So, come one, young or old, put your best foot forward. Hope to hear from you. Don't forget, support your shop and help the Society to go places (like Aylesbury). |
