From the Carriage Shop

The Ten Million Pennies Appeal continues to make steady progress. The 3.000,000 pennies level has now been exceeded and at the end of April the total from all sources stood at 3,018,200 of which the pond outside the Carriage Shop has contributed 92,600 pennies. We now hope to announce the first 100, 000 pennies (£1000) from the pond some time during this summer.

Our latest fund raiser is carpet square samples, kindly donated by Hatfield Carpets. The make ideal car mats and the asking price is so low that you can afford to throw them away each time you make them dirty with Quainton mud.
