Dreams of a Fund Raising Officer

Wouldn't it be nice if:-

We had someone to welcome visitors to the site in a smart uniform;

We had a proper reception building;

We had a function and restaurant building;

We had more covered accommodation for restoration and display purposes;

We had a point connection with both yards;

We had the turntable installed;

We had three-phase electricity to both restoration buildings;

We had full mains drainage;

We had a well-prepared driver training pamphlet;

We had a van or trailer which was rainproof for outside events, publicity and sales;

We were donated £2½ million;

These are just a few of the projects for BRC. Now wouldn't it be nice if we got a sufficient fund raising and sales force to enable it all to happen!!

(Editor's note - any volunteers for this unpaid, unsung band of travel worn, rain soaked heroes will be welcomed by Eric Miller, our Fund Raising Officer.)
