A Society like Quainton which has been in existence for nearly a quarter of a century inevitably loses quite a few of its older Members and this combined with a recession, loss of employment being given most frequently as the reason for not renewing Membership, means that we have had to run fast to stand still over the past year. Therefore it reflects well on the spirit of Quainton that we showed a slight increase in 1992. Particularly pleasing was the increase in Life Members and new Shareholders.

1993 has started well, new Members are flowing in. June was a bumper month: 18 new members plus 13 others who have been given a years Membership as part of their Driving Course. It now rests with us to maintain their interest and that of our existing Members so that they renew on year and enjoy participating in the life of the Centre.
