Around the Site


Down Yard No.3 is now in the short siding, almost re-painted and posed with some wagons. The Wembley Shed has Coventry No.1, now laid up for repair, and the frame of P1900, the flying bufferbeam. In the yard are Sir Thomas, the fireless, P2087, three diesels, Arthur and several wagons for painting. The shed has Chislet, the home of P2105, Scott and the home of the Beattie. No.66 is in for re-painting after spending many years in the Wembley Shed. At the back are Swanscombe, Tom Parry and the Baguley diesel.

Up Yard: L99 lives in shed with Met 1, 9466 (shortly to depart for the Nene Valley Rlwy) and the Sentinels. The latest Mk1 coach is now in the train, and E24993, the plum & custard Mk 1, is receiving welding repairs to the window.
