The big news from the Admin Coach so far this year has been the installation, courtesy of Mike Hazell, of a new computer system. After some initial teething problems (help - don't panic - what on Earth !!?*!) we have got over some finger trouble and the system has just proved itself with the first mail-out to our 2,500 data base.

With the mailing list now computerised we are able to administer out list of regular visitors much more efficiently, speeding up mail shots and eliminating wasteful duplications of names and addresses.

Moving on from the Data Base the computer will now be further developed to cater for word processing and the complication of other more specialised mailing lists. Many thanks to Mike Hazell for obtaining the equipment and to Margaret, Miriam, Gus and Christine for data loading.
