We are currently refurbishing the cab of No 3 in order to allow access to the public. This loco is not currently earmarked for operational use and sits at the bead of our demonstration freight train in the Museum Building (Buffer Depot). As such, a cosmetic exercise is under way to repaint the cab interior and generally tidy it up. However, a number of items are missing and we wondered if any members could assist in tracking them down.

• Regulator handle.
• Two water level gauges (we only have the outer protective glass shields to hand).
• Both makers plates.
• Odd bits of piping to connect the whistle and pressure gauge.

If you have any knowledge of their possible whereabouts please get in touch. Otherwise, especially in respect of the maker's plates, it would be very useful to have some detailed photographs, which could be used to identify the items and / or help produce replicas or some mock-up. There are also some spare connections on the boiler front plate, which we would like to clarify.
